Dr. Judith offers advice and guidance in this process. Called a nomad and a dervish by her friends she has for many years been offering individual counseling and workshops in different places in The Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and Greece, as well as online, giving an integrative approach to health and healing.
You can visit her with any questions regarding your health (physical/mental/emotional/spiritual), both preventive and curative.
Her approach is personal and natural whenever possible.
Adjusting personal nutrition and lifestyle is fundamental in the integrative approach and when needed natural therapies are applied.
The most beautiful aspect of this work for her is the connection with the people and being allowed to witness the transition of those who can truly embrace themselves, Life and the healing journey, into the most vibrant, balanced, healthy person they can be.
Dr. Judith’s teacher Franklin used to say that in the practice in the field of medicine there is always a triangle of relationship that needs to be there for the process to happen: the person asking for help – the person with the knowledge and skills to offer the proper instruments (physician, nurse, therapist, etc.) – and the Divine (known by many names). It is through the interconnectedness of Being that the Art of Healing works.
Dr. Judith is deeply grateful to her Satguru Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda for His eternal Love and guidance, to her Sufi teacher Pir Zia Inayat Khan for introducing the mystical aspect of the Oneness of Life in all her myriad of expressions and how devotion is the way to reach there, to her Ayurveda teachers, Franklin Lafour and dr. Vasant Lad for conveying the knowledge, as well as the many other teachers on her path.
Firmly believing that all is in Essence One she aims to bridge modern and traditional systems, different places and cultures.
Recently she spent 14 months in the Shree Peetha Nilaya ashram near Frankfurt, Germany, offering Ayurveda programs while living the ashram life. Back in The Netherlands now she offers consultations and treatments in Leiden and also online consultations to the growing international community of people who would like to walk the path of Ayurveda and integrative health.
She works also parttime in a supportive function for family physician offices and has extensive experience teaching Western anatomy and physiology at an Ayurveda Academy as well as basic medical training topics and further education for (para)medical students and students of complementary medicine.
